In memory of Adrian Davis
At the Spring IMSA meeting in Marseille, we learned our dear friend, colleague, and UK – IMSA partner, Adrian Davis was diagnosed with cancer. Sadly he lost his brave battle on Saturday, April 29th. Adrian was a true professional, always willing to collaborate with others and share his knowledge of recruiting. With a background in Engineering, Adrian developed his career in the international automotive component sector, initially in the United Kingdom followed by five years in Paris. He also lived and worked in the USA and Germany.
Adrian was the UK – IMSA partner for many years. He is remembered for his sense of humor, generosity and warm spirit. A constant team player, Adrian freely shared his experiences and could relate them to situations where his colleagues may be struggling.
Jonathan Lee shared, “Commercially trained, Adrian’s background was in engineering, and he had a real passion for anything mechanical especially classic cars. He was also a keen sportsman enjoying skiing and watching Worcester Warriors rugby, an active Freemason, and an avid traveler. Adrian was a true gentleman and dedicated family man, traditional in his values, enthusiastic in whatever he engaged himself in and warm and friendly towards everyone he met.”
“We had the opportunity to work with Adrian on several cross-border assignments and enjoyed hosting him in our office for candidate interviews before the 2014 IMSA meeting in Phoenix” says Kathleen Duffy from IMSA USA.
Dressed impeccably, Adrian had a twinkle in his eye and smile that could brighten up a room. Adrian strengthened our IMSA community, and he will be greatly missed.
