2010 Autumn Conference in Brussels, Belgium, October 9 – October 11
IMSA offices attend a conference at six monthly intervals to discuss international recruitment projects, meet with representatives of other offices worldwide, and share best practice. The Autumn 2010 conference was held in Brussels.
A key feature of IMSA is the professionalism and trust between our offices worldwide, working together to satisfy the needs of our International clients. This empathy and trust is reinforced by representatives of all offices meeting together, and also developing a good social spirit. At the conference, information was exchanged about many international projects – see Case Studies for many recent examples.
Attendees were delighted to welcome three members of our new Mexican partner – GRH – who made a very interesting presentation about the firm and the Mexican economy. Mexico is now the fourteenth largest economy in the world.
GRH was formed ten years ago, and in addition to carrying out Executive Search is also a specialist in Compensation & Benefits and Training/Outsourcing. We wish GRH every success within the IMSA community.
Conference later heard some insightful presentations on the use of psychometrics within Executive Search from a number of offices. As an example, our Norwegian office (AHead) described some highly relevant research into the psychometric profiles of Norwegian managers where they are helping create the norm data for the Hogan HDS psychometric system for Norway.
IMSA offices offer a wide variety of psychometric tools and a high level of expertise to interpret the results found.
Attendees also found time to see around the historic City of Brussels, including visiting the famous Atomium, to top off a successful conference.
