Mr. Susumu HOSHIBA

Susumu Hoshiba built a career in banking at
Mitsui Bank Ltd. (now the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking
Corp., or SMBC) that spans over 24 years, and
has extensive experience at various management
positions, including General Manager of the
San Francisco, California Agency. Susumu also
worked for Sony Corporation when in his thirties.
When he left the Bank, he accepted a position
as a Board Director at Pasona Inc., one of the
leading human resources service companies in
Tokyo, where he assumed the responsibilities
of the Managing Director of incubation capital,
and later of Deputy President at an outplacement
consulting company.
Susumu brings a rich international experience
of well over 20 years, including a dozen years
overseas in Belgium, France and the United States.
He also possesses a wide variety of industrial
expertise through his career at banking, electronics,
venture capital and human resources companies.
